Dangerous at both ends and crafty in the middle

Today was my first day of equine EMS! So I'm back in Lanark where I was at the beginning of the summer with the cows. So I got up at 6, headed to the train station, and did my normal routine to get there. For a second I forgot exactly which bus to get, but figured it out and a nice woman on the bus told the driver to stop in front of the vet again, so I didn't have to walk! So nice! So I got there and pretty much didn't nothing until like 230. So I sat and read through some anatomy in prep for the surgeries tomorrow and the next day. Then finally we got a call and we went to see about A foal that was lame. We think its an abscess in the foot, so the vet put a poultice on it and someone's going to check to see if any things improved. Then I thought I was going to get off early since there didn't seem to be much else for me to do, but I got grabbed for another case and we headed out. The problem was this Clydesdale had had a castration a while ago and then it got a seroma and it went away but now it's infected again, so there's been a series of visits and this horse isn't getting better. So we saw it and it was pussy and infected. So we have him more antibiotics and flushed or out with a hose. So it turned out to be a good day, got my animal fix for the day and now some cool surgeries to look forward to! Now to go home and review horse respiratory surgeries! Yay!
