Sunny Days!

This has been my weekend off here in Ripon! Yesterday I didn't do much, mostly slept in and did a little work on some homework assignments and looked at EMS stuff, etc. Today I walked around the town of Ripon which was really fun! I had a toastie for lunch with some fresh made lemonade and then walked to the Cathedral here which was lovely. Then I had a little ice cream, which was amazing, and walked down the canal for a while. On the water they were doing rubber duck races! So I stopped and watched that for a bit. Then I went grocery shopping while I was in town, and did a little regular shopping for myself, and heading back to the practice. I dropped off my groceries and then headed to this abby that is around here and through a deer park. It was absolutely lovely! I kind of wish that I had spent the whole day there because it was so nice to just walk around this massive park and I barely scratched the surface of it! But after walking around all day I was quite tired, and now pretty much getting ready for bed! Tomorrow is a bank holiday so I have the day off. I might try to go on call, but I also want to read over some notes and finish up some of the problems that they have given us, so I'll see how the day progresses!
