And we're off to the races!

Well last week was a jaunty stroll in the park compared to this week, and its only Tues! We had some lab today, I learned how to put in an intranasal tube for feeding or oxygen, which was really cool! I got to practise once we were done with our dissection of the canine head to look at its respiratory structures, so basically we looked at a sawed in half dog head, but it was still pretty cool! Though a reminder that I actually need to study so I know what I'm looking at! I think we're going to look at horse noses on Thurs, and they are (like everything else in horses) confusing, counterintuitive, and prone to horrible disease but horses are terrible people, but I digress.  Update, I'm still ill, so thats awesome. I took a bunch of drugs today so hopefully that plus some sleep will finally cure me of the Glasgow plague! At least I'm not the only one who has it, so coughing fits in the middle of class are less embarrassing.
